PERRIS (CNS) - A woman was killed in a head-on crash involving two pickup trucks in Perris, the sheriff's department said on Saturday.
A motorist driving a Ford F-150 was stopped facing eastbound in the left turn lane on West Fourth Street waiting to turn northbound on Navajo Road when a Nissan Frontier going westbound on West Fourth Street veered into the turn lane and struck the Ford head on, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.
Deputies were dispatched to the crash scene at 11:24 a.m. Friday. A woman, who was a passenger in the Ford, was transported to an area hospital and died from her injuries there.
Both motorists and some passengers suffered injuries. They were all transported to area hospitals. Their condition were not immediately known.
