Four hurt in Anza highway crash

ANZA (CNS) - Four people were injured -- three seriously -- in a three-vehicle collision on Friday on Highway 371 in Anza. The crash happened about 2 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, near Cary Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency said a full-size van and a Toyota Tacoma pickup impacted, causing the latter to overturn. A sedan was also involved in the crash, but the specific circumstances were not immediately available. Riverside County Fire Department personnel arrived within 15 minutes and found an occupant of the van trapped, suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to reports from the scene.
