Sports EditorThe CIF-Southern Section offices recently announced the playoff division pairings for the 2019-2020 high school winter sports season, which includes boys’ and girls’ basketball, boys’ and girls’ soccer, girls’ water polo and wrestling. As the fall season wraps up with playoffs starting as early as last week for most teams, the winter sports regular season should begin right around the second or third week of November. Lakeside and Rancho Verde will represent the illustrious and ever so tough Division 1 group for girls’ basketball and on the boys’ courts it will be Rancho Christian, Temecula Valley and Rancho Verde high schools holding down Division 1 as well. For girls’ soccer, it will be Temecula Valley and Vista Murrieta high schools
