TEMECULA – The nationally recognized and award-winning Chaparral High School theater department announced that it debuted its fall play “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7. Additional performances are 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. All performances are held in the school’s performing arts center at 27215 Nicolas Road in Temecula. Written by Neil Simon, “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” focuses on the star and writers of a TV comedy-variety show in the 1950s. This semi-autobiographical comedy is inspired by Simon’s own early career experience as a junior writer for “Your Show of Shows” and “Caesar’s Hour” in the 1950s. Cast members include sophomore Brady Hill as Lucas Brickman, junior Kai Shaffer as Milt
