Hamilton K-8 School students and staff hosted local members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces for a Veterans Day breakfast and celebration in their honor Friday, Nov. 8.A wonderful pancake and sausage breakfast was served to the veterans and their families by school staff, PTSA members and energetic Girl Scouts. After the satisfying meal, the guests moved outside for the main event.Boy Scout and Cub Scout Troops 319 presented the colors and led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by special performances and presentations.Band teacher Lovina Leon directed the band in patriotic music, and several different classes sang songs for the veterans.Christopher Freel Jr. said, “As a veteran I would like to thank you guys for all you do.
