Crash on I-15 in Temecula injuries 2
A multi-vehicle crash caused serious injuries and shut down lanes of Interstate 15 in Temecula late Saturday morning.The crash was reported a little after 11:45 a.m. on northbound I-15 near Winchester Road, the Riverside County Fire Department reported on Twitter.Fire officials said a total of six vehicles were involved, and two people had to be taken to local hospitals.Three northbound lanes of the freeway were blocked in the immediate aftermath of the collision, and a SigAlert was issued, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.The CHP described the crash victims' injuries as major.All lanes were reopened by a little before 1 p.m.Will Fritz can be reached by email at wfritz@reedermedia.com.
