Felony charges possible against woman suspected of slashing Hemet officer

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Felony charges could be filed tomorrow against a 49-year-old woman suspected of slashing a Hemet police officer trying to take her into custody after she flew into a rage outside a mobile home park.Misty Marie Wagner was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of attempted murder of a peace officer and drunk and disorderly conduct. She's being held in lieu of $1 million bail at the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside.According to Hemet Police Lt. Nate Miller, about 8 p.m. Thursday, patrol officers were called to the 600 block of North Kirby Street, in front of the Colonial Mobile Home Park, to investigate reports of a woman behaving suspiciously.When the officers arrived, they encountered Wagner "acting erratic and displaying bizarre behavior," Miller said."As o
