Motorist killed in head-on crash north of Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - A motorist was killed Monday in a head-on collision just north of Moreno Valley that was triggered when a vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.The fatality happened about 12:20 p.m. on Redlands Boulevard, about a quarter-mile south of San Timoteo Canyon Road, the CHP reported.According to the agency, a motorist going northbound on Redlands veered into southbound traffic, slamming into a truck. Another vehicle was also involved, but no details were available.Paramedics pronounced the motorist whose vehicle struck the truck dead at the scene.
