Section of Diaz Road closed due to sinkhole
A portion of Diaz Road was closed in Temecula while crews work to fix a sinkhole that opened up in the roadway, apparently as a result of last week’s storm, a city official said Monday.The sinkhole appeared Wednesday on the east side of Diaz between Zevo Drive and Remington Avenue, north of Winchester Road, according to Temecula Public Works Director Patrick Thomas.The road has been closed in that area since that time, Thomas said.
