Woman’s death in Lake Elsinore believed to be homicide, sheriff’s department says

Detectives are investigating the death of a woman in Lake Elsinore as a homicide, a sheriff’s deputy said Thursday.Emergency dispatchers received a call around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday reporting an unresponsive woman at a home on Monroe Street near Garfield street, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Thurm.Deputies arrived at the residence and found family members performing CPR on the victim. Paramedics also responded within a few minutes and attempted life-saving measures, but were ultimately unsuccessful and pronounced the woman dead, Thurm said.Investigators believe the woman is a victim of a homicide, but did not release any details on what may have led to her death.Thurm did not say whether the sheriff’s department has identified any suspects.The vic
