The unprecedented storm that wreaked havoc all over the mountain communities and dumped record rainfall in the valleys did not stop some furry friends from enjoying the white stuff Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28.As vehicles slipped on ice, tree branches cracked with the weight of the snow and social media reverberated with the latest news, these animals remained oblivious, and intent on making the best of the fleeting snowfall.Idyllwild received as much as 2 feet of snow, while places in the Anza Valley accumulated nearly a foot.
