Poll: Majority of US voters oppose Trump impeachment

JACK PHILLIPS The Epoch Times Months after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced the impeachment inquiry in September, more than half of voters said that President Donald Trump should not be removed from office, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll. Fifty-one percent said Trump should not be impeached and removed from office, while 45 percent said that he should be, said the poll released on Thursday. On Nov. 26, the same pollster found that 48 percent of respondents said Trump should not be impeached while 45 percent said he should be. “Today’s poll is the first time since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the inquiry that more than half of voters say that Trump should not be impeached,” Quinnipiac wrote.
