HUSD gives notice of public hearing about closing Aspire Community Day School

HEMET – The governing board of Hemet Unified School District gave public notice, Dec. 4, that the district’s board will consider closing ASPIRE Community Day School and redistributing students currently attending ASPIRE to other school sites at their upcoming meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the Professional Development Service Center board room, 1791 W. Acacia Ave., in Hemet.The board will also consider whether closing ASPIRE is an exempt project under the California Environmental Quality Act.The district board invites public testimony regarding these matters.Questions and/or comments should be directed to Dr. Derek Jindra, assistant superintendent of human resources at Hemet Unified School District, at (951) 765-5100, ext. 2001.Submitted by Hemet Unified Sch
