Tahquitz High School cheer hosts kindness event

HEMET – Tahquitz High School’s cheer team hosted its annual Cheer Showcase with a fun and caring, twist. This year, in addition to cheer teams performing a pep rally, halftime or competition routine, the student-athletes also created posters about the community service projects they performed throughout the year. This new addition was in support of the Riverside County Office of Education’s Kindness Campaign initiative.Cheer teams from Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles County gathered in the Tahquitz gymnasium to participate in the event.
