Volunteers from Wreaths Across America descended upon Temecula Public Cemetery laying remembrance wreathes on the graves of veterans Friday, Dec. 13.

The group laid 278 wreaths on the graves of veterans who fought in wars that took place in the last 150 years.

“Wreaths Across America is a national event and it happens at all national cemeteries, generally on a weekend but always falling in the same time frame,” Temecula Public Cemetery general manager Cindi Beaudet explained. “The public and private cemeteries have just stated picking up on it.”

2019 marks the second year that Temecula Public Cemetery, at 41911 C Street, participated in the event.
