MURRIETA - A man fled while sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute Thursday morning, then led authorities on a lengthy pursuit that ended when the suspect was shot and killed by deputies on a Murrieta street. According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Tamrin Olden, a 911 call came in at 8:47 a.m. reporting a man brandishing a handgun during an argument in the 31000 block Borega Road, in unincorporated French Valley. Deputies arrived at the home a little after 9:10 a.m., just as the man got into a vehicle and started to leave, according to Olden. The suspect was reported  to be armed with a handgun and possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The responding deputies initiated a pursuit that stretched into nearby Murrieta.
