Anza man, 23, wanted for fatal Aguanga crash; CHP says suspect may be planning to flee to Mexico

AGUANGA - Authorities on Saturday publicly identified the man suspected of taking off on foot after he allegedly caused a fatal crash in Aguanga early Friday, and said they believe the man is planning to flee the country.Antone Wayne Bayard, 23, of Anza, is likely in the Temecula/San Diego area, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers suspect he plans to escape to Mexico.He's wanted on suspicion of murder in connection with the crash as well as an unspecified altercation that injured two officers, the CHP said.Bayard was allegedly behind the wheel of a 2011 Nissan Versa that slammed into the back of a 1986 Toyota pickup at 6:15 a.m. Friday on state Route 371 near Wilson Valley Road, according to the CHP.After striking the pickup, the Nissan veered into the onco
