Fire damages San Jacinto home
SAN JACINTO (CNS) - A fire caused major damage to the upper floor of a San Jacinto home Monday and displaced seven people, including three children, but no injuries were reported.The blaze was reported about 1:55 p.m. in the 1600 block of Park Meadows Drive, near Lyon Avenue, on the north side of San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.Arriving crews encountered flames raging in a bedroom closet. The fire spread to the attic, where crews contained it 40 minutes later, according to the fire department.The structural damage was sufficient to make the property uninhabitable pending repairs.American Red Cross personnel were summoned to find temporary living arrangements for the two men, two women and three children who were displaced, according to reports
