Man faces felony evading charges in connection with Lake Elsinore pursuit

MURRIETA (CNS) - A 21-year-old man accused of stealing a car in Lake Elsinore and attempting to flee from sheriff's deputies until he struck rocks on a dead end street and crashed was charged Tuesday with felony evading and other offenses.Abel Stephan Hall was arrested Thursday after the pursuit that began in Lakeland Village.Along with the evading count, Hall was charged with auto theft and eluding a peace officer. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Byrd Detention Center and is slated to make his initial court appearance Tuesday afternoon at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta.According to Riverside County sheriff's officials, about 1 a.m. Thursday, the convicted felon was spotted driving in the area of Blackwell Boulevard and Brightman Avenue, in the commun
