Things are heating up for both the girls’ and boy’s Southwestern League high school basketball teams, especially with the end of the regular season closing in. On the boys’ basketball courts, the Great Oak High School Wolfpack (17-4, 4-0) has yet to lose a league game, while the Vista Murrieta High School Broncos (8-13, 0-4) are still seeking their first league win. Scattered through the middle of the standings heading into this week are the Temecula Valley High School Golden Bears (13-7, 3-1), the Murrieta Mesa High School Rams (13-5, 3-1), the Murrieta Valley High School Nighthawks (11-11, 1-3) and the Chaparral High School Pumas (13-8, 1-3).On the girls’ courts it’s the Murrieta Mesa Lady Rams (10-10, 4-0
