TEMECULA – Competing at the 39th annual San Francisco International Wine Competition, South Coast Winery, owned by Carter Hospitality, garnered the 2019 “Winery of the Year” award from SFIWC-affiliated The Tasting Panel Magazine. The SFIWC, a member of The Tasting Alliance, is one of the oldest international wine competitions in the world and North America’s largest wine judging event.In addition to the “Winery of the Year” designation, South Coast Winery was awarded “Best of Class” for its Wild Horse Peak Mountain Vineyards Touriga Nacional, 2016 in the Spanish/Portuguese/Argentine Red category. It also won two Double Gold awards for its Daybreak Muscat and Wild Horse Peak Mountain Vineyards Touriga Nacional, 2016. Gold medals were earned by the vineyard’s 4
