Hemet concert series continues with cello-piano duo

HEMET – The Kouzov Duo will be presented by the Hemet Concert Association Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2:30 p.m. at Tahquitz High School Performing Arts Center, 4425 Titan Trail, in Hemet.The acclaimed duo will perform a program of cello and piano masterworks, including a work by Beethoven, whose 250th birthday is celebrated this year. A versatile performer, cellist Dmitry Kouzov has performed on five continents with orchestras, in solo and duo recitals and in chamber music performances. Kouzov has collaborated with Joshua Bell, Krzysztof Penderecki, Donald Weilerstein and Pacifica Quartet among others. He is a founding and active member of the Manhattan Piano Trio, with whom he has toured extensively throughout United States and captured First Prizes at the Plowman and Yellow Springs Nation
