TEMECULA – The National Charity League Inc., Temecula Valley chapter, had its annual Comfort-A-Thon Saturday, Jan. 25, where Ticktocker daughters earned three philanthropy hours each for volunteer work.Ticktockers rotated around to different stations at one of the mother Patronesses’ homes and worked for some of the philanthropies NCL serves such as the city of Temecula, Binky Patrol, Hope’s Community Closet, Jacob’s House, Empty Cradle, Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, Rose Again Foundation and Community Mission of Hope Farm.Some of the work consisted of assembling hygiene kits for homeless in the community, making comfort bags for families sitting in hospitals, making fleece-tied blankets, making homemade cards and writing messages of hope and encouragement for
