The Rising Stars youth basketball league held boys’ and girls’ youth basketball tryouts, Feb. 4 and 6. Boys’ practices were at Menifee Valley Middle School, and girls were at Canyon Lake Middle School both Tuesday and Thursday.Teams will play between two and three tournaments a month in local surrounding areas such as Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Corona, Riverside and more. Higher level teams will attend some tournaments in Orange County and San Diego and will travel to Las Vegas in July for the AAU West Coast Nationals. Team fees start at $50 per month plus tournaments and go up to $75 per month plus tournaments.Uniform packages are $150 and include sublimated reversible uniform and customized shooter shirt with name and number.
