Anza Country Car Show accelerates toward April 18 event

Cars, trucks and even tractors, motorcycles and other specialty vehicles will be on display at the Anza Country Car Show Saturday, April 18.Sponsored by the Anza Civic Improvement League, the event will be held at Minor Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.Show organizers have included trophy categories for cars, trucks, hot rods, street rods, antiques, tractors, off road machines and a new category for the best in-progress project vehicle.ACIL President Charles Cadwell said that vehicles are only a part of this community event.“While the vehicles will be the highlight of the show, there will be much more going on including The Anza 500 Pinewood Derby for kids, a corn hole tournament, a cakewalk, raffles, a beer garden, food vendors and live music,” he said. “This will be the b
