Sheriff’s department shuts down marijuana grow in Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - A commercial unit in a business park in Lake Elsinore found to be illegally converted into a indoor marijuana growing operation was shut down by authorities, but no arrests were made, officials said Thursday.Deputies on Wednesday served two search warrants inside the business park at the corner of Collier and Central avenues based on a tip, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.Once inside, deputies found sectioned-off growing rooms with plants in various stages of growth, as well as dried marijuana. The unit's electrical system was illegally altered, causing a fire hazard, sheriff's officials said.No arrests were reported.Anybody with information about the investigation is urged to call deputies Talbot or McCracken at the Lake Elsinor
