Local chambers of commerce announce cancellations, postponements

The Murrieta Wildomar Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday, March 11, it would suspend all its activities “out of an abundance of caution” in response to the threat of COVID-19.The move came after the chamber took part in a series of conference calls with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the White House, a press release issued by the agency said.“Based on information we have received and out of an abundance of caution, we are suspending all events and programs,” the chamber said.According to the press release, experts are saying that if large gathering events were suspended or changed over the next few weeks, it would provide a gap that could help to curtail the expansion of the virus.“We appreciate your patience during this time and support of us being mindful
