CANYON LAKE (CNS) - A fire today damaged the kitchen area of a Canyon Lake home, but no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 8:44 a.m. in the 30000 block of Steel Head Drive in the gated city of Canyon Lake west of Menifee, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Twenty firefighters kept the flames from spreading to the rest of the house.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
