Suspected robber dies while fleeing the scene in San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO (CNS) - An investigation was underway today after a suspected robber died while fleeing the business he allegedly robbed in San Jacinto.Deputies responded to an armed robbery call Tuesday at 1:18 p.m in the 2200 Block of West Esplanade, according to Sgt. Rick Espinoza of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.The suspect, who was only identified as a man, then fled the scene in a car, Espinoza said.While driving fast westbound on the Ramona Expressway near Hanson Boulevard, the man's car crashed into another car, causing the man to be ejected from the car, killing him.Two people in the other car were injured and taken to a local hospital, but survived.No additional details were available.Anybody with information is urged to call Central Homicide Inves
