With the growing concerns over the coronavirus outbreak impacting more than just sports and recruiting, the Valley News Sports Department is dedicated to helping student-athletes and their families navigate the changing landscape of recruiting during this time. Our commitment remains to serve as a trusted source of support, education and guidance for all recruits going through the recruiting process. Recently, the NCAA Council leadership put in place an immediate ban on in-person recruiting for Division 1 coaches. Additionally, the group advised schools to suspend any official and unofficial visits to campus from prospective student athletes.
