RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The University of California Board of Regents announced today that it will ease admissions requirements for students applying to its nine campuses, which include UC Riverside, during the coronavirus pandemic.The board voted Tuesday to suspend using SAT scores and letter grade requirements for A-G courses completed within the 2020 school year for all students who apply."We want to help alleviate the tremendous disruption and anxiety that is already overwhelming prospective students due to COVID-19,'' said John Perez, chair of the UC Board of Regents.
