Crews to rearrange traffic on I-15 for resurfacing project

TEMECULA (CNS) - Southbound Interstate 15 just south of Temecula will be reconfigured Friday night, shifting traffic to make room for a resurfacing project, and motorists should be prepared for delays, officials said today. The "crossover" is scheduled after 10 p.m. Friday between Temecula Parkway and the Rainbow turnout, according to Caltrans. The move is part of the $30 million I-15 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. Caltrans officials said the crossover will involve shifting all southbound traffic to the left, effectively creating a temporary lane in the freeway's center median.
