Woman last seen near Mountain Center remains missing

MOUNTAIN CENTER (CNS) - A 65-year-old woman who was last seen in a rural neighborhood in the San Jacinto Mountains east of Mountain Center remained missing today. Lydia "Dia" Abrams was described as white, 5-feet-5 inches tall, 130 pounds, and with blonde hair and blue eyes, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday. She was last seen wearing a black and turquoise jacket, a yellow shirt and blue jeans in the 58000 block of Bonita Vista, about three miles northeast of Lake Hemet and the Pines to Palms Highway (74), although sheriff's officials did not specify when. Anybody with information on her whereabouts was urged to call Investigator Albert Loureiro at 760-578-2101, or 951-776-1099, option 5, after hours.
