Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club will welcome Joe Ramos to speak about NASA, June 16

TEMECULA – The Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club will welcome as its featured speaker, Joe Ramos, a past district governor of Rotary District 5330, at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16. The club is currently meeting online via Zoom, and guests are welcome. Ramos worked at NASA for 34 years. Anyone who is interested in hearing his story should request the link to the meeting that morning by contacting Marti Treckman at martimusician@verizon.net.Ramos was born in Manila, Philippines, to American parents with Spanish heritage in January 1946. His parents moved to San Francisco on his fifth birthday in January 1951. He grew up in San Francisco, leaving after graduating from the University of San Francisco, and he married Jeanne Nelson Sawaya, his college sweetheart of four years, in August 1968.
