2-acre fire near Hemet chars outbuildings, vehicles, but injures no one
HEMET (CNS) - A two-acre brush fire just east of Hemet today destroyed some outbuildings and vehicles before it was contained, but no one was injured.The fire was reported at 12:27 p.m. at the Little Lake recreation area near Girard Street and Sharose Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.Three outbuildings and two vehicles were charred by the blaze before firefighters managed to contain it at 1:16 p.m., fire officials said.No other structures were threatened by the flames and no evacuations were ordered, authorities said.
