Assessor-Clerk-Recorder offices reopen to public

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Riverside County Assessor-Clerk-Recorder offices countywide are reopening to the public today, but residents will need appointments to visit the facilities amid ongoing public health safeguards. Most of the offices have been closed for in-person visits since March, but with protocols in place, they are available for general access again, according to Assessor-Clerk-Recorder Peter Aldana. ``I take the health and safety of our customers and staff very seriously,'' Aldana said.  ``I highly encourage people to use our remote service options without visiting an office. However, if you must come in, appointments are required to limit capacity and ensure social distancing.''
