County working to comply with state officials on compensation report

Data detailing the compensation and benefits of Riverside County elected officials, administrators and other government employees was not published by the state because some of the figures supplied by the county were problematic, but officials confirmed Wednesday, July 1, that the issue is being addressed and a resolution is pending. “We’re working with the state and should have additional information on when the matter is expected to be resolved soon,” Brooke Federico, representative of the county Executive Office, told City News Service. On Tuesday, the state controller’s office posted its annual “Government Compensation in California” report online, covering calendar year 2019 and listing public officials’ pay and benefits for comparative purposes.
