San Jacinto schools to reopen Aug. 6 with learning options

It has been a long summer for the more than 11,000 students in the San Jacinto Unified School District due to the coronavirus pandemic that closed all schools in March.  Now, the district plans to reopen schools Thursday, Aug. 6, with several different learning options in keeping with state and county health orders. The district’s announcement can be viewed at The reopening plans give students a choice of two options as of Monday, July 13, either a traditional schedule or full-time distance learning.
