RIVERSIDE — It is still not too late to apply for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer or P-EBT card. P-EBT is an extra food benefit to help families buy groceries while schools are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.All applications must be submitted electronically by July 15. Any family with a child who is eligible for free or reduced-price school meals can apply online at ca.p-ebt.org. Families will receive up to $365 per eligible child on their card to use on food and groceries.So far, there have been over 2,430,000 P-EBT cards issued in California.
