Carjacking suspect arrested in Wildomar

WILDOMAR (CNS) - A 32-year-old man suspected of carjacking a motorist in Orange County and driving the stolen vehicle into Wildomar, where he was arrested, was jailed today in lieu of $60,000 bail. Thomas Truehill Lopez of La Mirada was taken into custody Monday night and booked into the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of carjacking and being in possession of a stolen automobile. According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Rick Garcia, patrol deputies were passing the intersection of Autumn Sage Court and Valle Vista Circle about 10:45 p.m. Monday when they spotted a car that had been reported stolen during a carjacking a short time earlier in Buena Park.
