Felon charged with robbing Elsinore store, trying to flee from deputies
MURRIETA (CNS) - A 30-year-old parolee accused of holding up a Lake Elsinore store and trying unsuccessfully to flee from Riverside County sheriff's deputies was charged Monday with robbery and other offenses.
Darvone Brice Bogus of San Diego was arrested Thursday after the alleged robbery at a convenience store in the 19000 block of Collier Avenue, just west of Interstate 15.
Along with robbery, Bogus is charged with brandishing a handgun, resisting arrest and being in possession of controlled substances, as well as parole violations.
He is being held without bail at the Byrd Detention Center and is slated to make his initial court appearance tomorrow at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta.
