Son of victim in Hemet double homicide arrested

HEMET (CNS) - The 41-year-old son of a victim in a double homicide in Hemet was arrested today on suspicion of murder. Quintin McCracken of Hemet was located and taken into custody without incident during the predawn hours in San Bernardino and later transferred to the Hemet City Jail. Bail information was not immediately available. According to Hemet police Lt. Nathan Miller, McCracken was identified as the alleged perpetrator following an investigation that began immediately after the victims were located about 11 p.m. Monday in their house in the 5000 block of Corte Cerro, near Via Rivas. Authorities have not confirmed their identities, saying only that the male victim was in his 70s, and the female victim in her 60s. Miller did not say whether McCracken was the son of the woma
