The Riverside County Sheriff's Department tweeted Saturday, Oct. 17 that a deputy-involved shooting occurred in the area of McVicker Canyon Park Road and Gateway Drive in Lake Elsinore.Authorities urged the public to stay away from the area and offered no more information.This is a breaking news story that will be updated when more information becomes available.
