Charges expected against man accused of stealing car in Lake Elsinore

MURRIETA (CNS) - Felony charges are expected to be filed Tuesday against a man accused of stealing a car in Lake Elsinore and attempting to flee from sheriff's deputies until he struck rocks on a dead-end street.Abel Stephan Hall, 21, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of auto theft, felony evading, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violations.Hall is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.According to Riverside County sheriff's officials, the convicted felon was spotted driving in the area of Blackwell Boulevard and Brightman Avenue at about 1 a.m. Thursday, in the community of Lakeland Village, where patrol deputies ran a check on the car's license plate, confirming it was stolen.Deputies si
