With Veterans Day soon approaching Nov. 11, a Murrieta nonprofit organization whose proceeds benefit veterans and deployed troops is offering yard signs to honor veterans, a small flag and patriotic goodies for a donation.MilVet’s “Thank a Veteran” sign program is sponsored by JAGS Give Back in Murrieta, Fully Promoted, the Steer and Help Heal Veterans and offers the sign package for a $25 donation. The 24-inch by 18-inch sign reads “Freedom Isn’t Free. Thank a Veteran” and can be placed in front yards or other locations in a home or can be sent to a veteran or a loved one.The nonprofit, which was formerly called Valley Resource Center, offers free porch delivery within 10 miles of Murrieta or a pickup location at Which Wich, 24638 Madison Ave., in Murrieta through Nov.
