At least one person was killed when a vehicle went off Interstate 15 in Wildomar Sunday evening. The deadly crash happened a little before 6:15 p.m., the Riverside County Fire Department said on Twitter. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Lassig, the vehicle involved in the crash — a 2019 Ford Super Duty pickup — was seen traveling at a high speed in the center divider shoulder on southbound I-15 just north of the Olive Street overpass, which is about halfway between the Bundy Canyon Road and Railroad Canyon Road exits, just prior to the crash. Witnesses told the CHP that the pickup struck the center divider at the overpass, traveled down an embankment and rolled over onto Olive Street, where it became engulfed in flames.
