SAN JACINTO (CNS) - An investigation was underway Tuesday, Nov. 10 into a collision that left one motorist dead and another injured in San Jacinto.
Two vehicles collided about 2:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Warren Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Sgt. Mike Heath said one person, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene, while another was transported to an area hospital suffering from unspecified injuries.
Warren Road, between Upperline Avenue and Ramona Expressway, was fully shuttered into the late evening hours while crews investigated the scene.
Drugs or alcohol were not immediately suspected as playing factors in the crash, Heath said.
Witnesses were urged to call the San Jacinto sheriff's station at 951-654-2702.
