LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - A Lake Elsinore man was in custody following his arrest on suspicion of committing a lewd act on a child, authorities said.Geovanni Mendoza, 27,  was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at  a home on Tereticones Avenue and was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail at the Southwest Detention Center, according to sheriff's inmate records..The alleged lewd act on a child occurred Oct. 1 in the 18000 block of Tereticones Avenue, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Julio Olguin.The subsequent investigation led to Mendoza's arrest for suspicion of committing a lewd and lascivious act on a child under 14, felony sex abuse of a child under 14 and two misdemeanor charges, according to inmate records.
