Man accused of shooting at Canyon Lake bar arraigned
MURRIETA (CNS) - A 39-year-old man accused of firing a rifle at a Canyon Lake bar pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of shooting at an inhabited structure and reckless discharge of a firearm.Cody Keith Hill of Wildomar was arrested Friday after the alleged offense in the 31000 block of Railroad Canyon Road, near Canyon Lake Drive.Hill, who also faces a sentence-enhancing allegation of illegal use of a gun, was arraigned before Riverside County Superior Court Judge Stephen Gallon, who scheduled a status hearing for Dec. 1 at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta and set the defendant's bail at $1 million.Hill is being held at the Byrd Detention Center.According to sheriff's Sgt. Julio Olguin, the defendant allegedly stopped his vehicle in front of the pub about 1 p.m
