Critical fire weather likely in latter half of week in Inland Empire

RIVERSIDE (CNS) Santa Ana winds will return to the Inland Empire in the latter half of the week, raising wildfire risks and prompting the National Weather Service Monday, Nov. 30 to post a Fire Weather Watch for the region. The advisory goes live just after midnight Wednesday and will remain in effect until 10 p.m. Saturday. ``The peak in the winds remains uncertain, though Friday is looking to be the most likely time for the strongest winds,'' according to the NWS. ``Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.''
